The team of the Arthroscopic Surgery Unit (UCA, according to the Spanish acronym) of Dr.
Mikel Sánchez will be present on 22, 23, 24 and 25 September at the 8 th AEA-SEROD joint
Congress, held in Palma de Mallorca, providing knowledge on different specialities that will be
discussed at one of the reference congresses. This year, the Joint Congress Committee as a
representative body of the management board of the Spanish Arthroscopy Association (AEA,
according to the Spanish acronym) and the Spanish Knee Society, will have the ISAKOS
(International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine) and the
SECHC (Spanish Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery) as guest societies.

The UCA we will have a very active presence in different round tables and talks:

• ROUND TABLE Extra-articular Impingement and peritrochanteric space pathology
  (video techniques). Treatment of anterior inferior iliac spine syndrome. Dr. Jorge
  Guadilla.

• ICL Is it easy to start doing hip arthroscopy? How to wrap it up | Capsular closure and
  postoperative management. Dr. Nicolás Fiz. 

• ROUND TABLE Treatment of Osteochondral Knee Injuries. Microfractures + PRP.
  Dr. Mikel Sánchez.

• MESA REDONDA Central pivot instability in children´s knee: Intrepiphyseal & over the top reconstruction. Video technology by Dr. Gorka Knorr.
