Xabier Sansinanea

Dr. Xabier Sansinanea is a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, with extensive experience focused on pediatric orthopedics and traumatology, as well as hip pathology in young adults. He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of the Basque Country and completed his MIR training at the Santiago Apóstol Hospital in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

He has completed training placements at internationally renowned centers, such as the Hospital for Joint Diseases and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and has solid experience in arthroscopic surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and reconstructive surgery. For more than ten years, he was head of the Pediatric Orthopedics Unit at Araba University Hospital (Spain) before joining the team at MiKS Hospital, where he currently contributes his specialized knowledge in the comprehensive management of orthopedic pathologies in children and adolescents.

He combines his healthcare work with teaching and research, participating in numerous national and international conferences and collaborating on scientific projects related to innovation in orthopedic surgery. He is an active member of several scientific societies, including the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT) and the Spanish Society of Pediatric Orthopedics (SEOP).
