Hospital MiKS and Araski team up for the 2026–2027 season

Kutxabank Araski and Hospital MiKS are joining forces for the 2026–2027 season following a new collaboration agreement that makes Hospital MiKS the club’s medical center of reference.

The agreement will allow Hospital MiKS to support Araski’s players throughout the season, providing access to the experience and resources of its medical teams, with particular attention to the needs associated with high-level sport.

The collaboration has already begun with the medical assessments carried out ahead of the start of the competition. The players have visited Hospital MiKS and the Advanced Physiotherapy Unit (UFA), where they underwent a range of tests to assess their health and establish a baseline before taking on the demands of a new season in Liga Femenina Endesa.

Blood tests, electrocardiograms, medical consultations, exercise testing, and functional assessments are part of these evaluations. In addition to checking each athlete’s overall health, they help identify potential risk factors, detect deficits or asymmetries, and establish a baseline that supports the monitoring of each player throughout the season.

A collaboration that goes beyond medical assessments

The agreement between Hospital MiKS and Araski gives the club access to a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in sports medicine and a strong understanding of the demands of high-performance sport.

The goal is to provide medical and physiotherapy support tailored to each athlete’s needs, from prevention and ongoing monitoring to assessment and recovery in the event of injury.

For Hospital MiKS, this collaboration also holds special significance because of what Araski represents for sport in Álava and, in particular, its commitment to the development and visibility of women’s sport.

The club is entering its 11th consecutive season in Spain’s top women’s basketball league, consolidating a project that has made Araski one of the leading sporting organizations in Álava.

A new season begins, along with a new chapter in this collaboration.
